West Ham want 31-goal star who Jose Mourinho once urged to "learn more about the game" - report

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly monitoring a prolific forward who previously recorded a thirty-one-goal season. The targeted player has faced public scrutiny in the past, most notably from former manager Jose Mourinho, who suggested the individual needed a deeper comprehension of tactical play. Despite these historical comments regarding the player’s footballing intelligence, the Hammers appear interested in integrating his significant scoring record into their first-team squad. This potential move aligns with the club’s objective to strengthen their attacking department with proven finishers. As recruitment plans take shape, the club continues evaluating several options to improve their offensive output for the upcoming campaign.
