'His time' - Anton Ferdinand sends 12-word message to West Ham talent as injury woes hit

The Story So Far

West Ham United’s ongoing injury issues have prompted former defender Anton Ferdinand to offer public encouragement to a developing talent at the club. As the first team manages several fitness setbacks, Ferdinand suggested that the current circumstances provide a significant opportunity for the prospect to make an impact. The gesture highlights how absences in the senior squad can create openings for younger players to step into more prominent roles. With squad depth under pressure, such support from a former academy graduate underscores the importance of seizing the moment. The situation reflects the club's reliance on its broader roster during a period of reduced player availability.
