West Ham step up efforts to sign World Cup goalscorer but will find it hard to convince him to sign - report

The Story So Far

West Ham United have intensified their efforts to recruit a forward who recently distinguished himself by scoring on the international stage during the World Cup. The club is actively seeking to strengthen their squad with this high-caliber addition, though early indications suggest that finalizing a deal will be a complex undertaking. Despite the Hammers' increased interest, reports indicate that persuading the player to agree to terms remains a primary obstacle for the board. Negotiations appear to be in a delicate phase, as the club faces significant hurdles in convincing the prolific attacker that a move to East London is the right step for his professional career.
