West Ham stay clear of drop zone after Wilson’s vital late winner against Everton

The Story So Far

West Ham United secured a vital victory against Everton at the London Stadium, distancing themselves from the relegation zone. Tomas Soucek marked his 250th appearance for the club by scoring the opening goal, providing the home side with an early lead. Everton equalised after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall converted a chance created by a headed pass. With the match seemingly heading toward a draw, Callum Wilson provided a decisive moment in stoppage time. Wilson’s 92nd-minute strike secured all three points for the hosts. This result ensures the Hammers maintain a gap over the bottom three during a critical stage of the Premier League campaign.
