West Ham sign Chelsea defender Disasi on loan
The Story So Far
West Ham United have secured Axel Disasi from Chelsea on a temporary basis until the campaign concludes. The French international defender, who has earned five caps, completed the move for a reported fee of £1.7 million. The transfer followed a busy deadline day that required a deal sheet to allow for time beyond the initial cutoff. Joining a backline managed by Nuno Espirito Santo, the twenty-seven-year-old arrives as the club seeks to improve its defensive record. The Hammers are currently positioned in the bottom three of the league table as they work to maintain their status in the top division.
