West Ham relegated despite 3-0 victory over Leeds

The Story So Far

West Ham United have been relegated following the conclusion of their recent fixture. Despite securing a convincing three-goal victory against Leeds United, the result was not enough to preserve their status in the division. The Hammers delivered a dominant performance throughout the match, scoring three times to claim the points. However, due to the existing league standings, the win proved insufficient to avoid the drop. Consequently, the club will compete in a lower division for the upcoming campaign. This outcome marks a difficult conclusion to the season, as the team’s on-field success in this specific game ultimately failed to prevent their relegation from the league.
