West Ham react to being relegated
The Story So Far
West Ham United have been demoted from the top division following the conclusion of the campaign. Despite finishing the season with a three-goal victory over Leeds United, the result proved insufficient to secure their place in the Premier League. The club’s relegation was finalized on the final matchday as other fixtures across the league determined the final standings. Fans at the stadium witnessed the win but were left to process the implications of falling into the second tier. This outcome marks the end of the Hammers' latest top-flight stint, prompting reflection on the year's challenges ahead of professional football next season.
