West Ham in talks for Celtic midfielder Engels

The Story So Far

West Ham United have reportedly opened negotiations to secure the services of a midfielder currently playing in Scottish Premiership football. The London club is looking to bolster their central options by pursuing the Celtic player, Engels. These discussions represent the latest movement in the club's recruitment strategy as they aim to strengthen the squad before the window closes. While the deal is in its early stages, the Hammers are keen to see if a formal agreement can be reached with the Glasgow side. This potential addition would provide competition in the middle of the park for the Premier League outfit.
