West Ham in discussions with Nottingham Forest over defender loan deal

The Story So Far

West Ham United have entered preliminary negotiations with Nottingham Forest regarding the potential temporary transfer of a defensive player. The East London club is exploring options to bolster their backline, with a loan arrangement being the primary focus of these discussions. While specific details regarding the player's identity or the length of the agreement remain unconfirmed, both Premier League sides are communicating to see if mutually beneficial terms can be reached. This move would allow the Hammers to add defensive depth without committing to a permanent purchase immediately. Developments are expected as both clubs continue their dialogue ahead of the registration deadline.
