West Ham have approached Chelsea regarding defensive ‘bomb squad’
The Story So Far
West Ham United have initiated contact with Chelsea to discuss the potential availability of players for the backline. These individuals are currently separated from the main first-team training group as the club looks to reduce its squad size. The Hammers are seeking to strengthen their defense and have identified these sidelined players as possible recruitment targets. While no specific names have been officially confirmed, the enquiry indicates a move to secure experienced personnel who are no longer central to their employer's plans. Negotiations are understood to be in the preliminary stages as the club evaluates its options for rearguard reinforcements.
