West Ham and England star U-turned on Scotland international agreement

The Story So Far

West Ham United’s squad features a prominent England international who previously reconsidered a commitment to represent Scotland. Before establishing himself within the England national team setup, the player had reportedly reached an agreement to play for the Scottish side. This decision was ultimately reversed, leading the individual to pursue his international career with England instead. This shift allowed the player to progress into the senior English squad while maintaining his position as a key professional at West Ham. Such developments illustrate the choices available to players with dual eligibility and the competitive nature of international recruitment for top-level talent.
