View: Why EFL hitman may now be cheaper for West Ham to sign in January after two-window chase

The Story So Far

West Ham United could be positioned to finalize a move for a prolific forward from the English Football League during the upcoming January transfer window. The club has reportedly monitored the player’s availability over the past two transfer periods, though a formal agreement remained elusive during those prior windows. Current market conditions indicate that the financial cost of the transfer may have decreased, potentially allowing the club to secure the target at a more affordable price than previously expected. This development follows a lengthy scouting process and suggests that persistent interest might soon lead to a successful signing to bolster offensive depth.
