Tottenham's Richarlison equals Premier League record as Aston Villa win takes Roberto De Zerbi's side above West Ham

The Story So Far

West Ham United have dropped in the Premier League standings following a series of influential results across the division. A win for Aston Villa has facilitated a move that sees Roberto De Zerbi’s squad overtake the Hammers in the league table. This adjustment in the rankings occurred alongside a notable individual achievement for Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison, who equalled a long-standing top-flight record. These developments mean the East London club now faces increased pressure from rivals in the search for a higher league finish. The fluctuations reflect the narrow margins currently separating teams competing for position within the table's top half.
