The Premier League finally has a relegation battle | Jonathan Wilson

The Story So Far

West Ham United and their top-flight contemporaries are facing a Premier League landscape where the fight to avoid relegation has become increasingly competitive. After several seasons with a clearly defined bottom three, a broader group of clubs are now struggling to maintain their league status. Despite that dominant performance, Forest remained five points clear of the relegation zone, which currently includes a struggling Tottenham side. This tightening of the table suggests that the battle to avoid the Championship will involve multiple teams as the campaign progresses.
