Southend sign West Ham defender Oyebade on loan

The Story So Far
West Ham United defender Rayan Oyebade has completed a temporary move to Southend United for the duration of the current campaign. The teenage prospect joins the Shrimpers on a loan agreement intended to provide him with consistent exposure to senior competitive football. Having developed within the Hammers' youth ranks, the young defender heads to the Essex-based club to gain valuable experience and further his professional growth. The Championship side has sanctioned the arrangement to allow Oyebade to test himself in a senior environment. West Ham will continue to monitor the defender’s progress throughout his entire tenure away from the club.
