Scholes thinks United have dodged a bullet as player who snubbed them this summer in line to flop at club he chose

The Story So Far

Paul Scholes has suggested that United avoided a mistake by failing to secure a player who ultimately signed with West Ham United during the recent summer transfer window. The pundit noted that the individual, who was linked with a move to United before choosing the Hammers, is currently struggling to find form. Scholes believes the player’s initial performances have not justified the high expectations surrounding his arrival. While the recruit opted for a move to the London Stadium over other Premier League options, his current trajectory suggests he may not have been the right fit for United’s specific long-term requirements.
