Man United and West Ham going head-to-head for 22yo defender, £10m asking price

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly competing with Manchester United to secure the signature of a young defensive prospect. The player, aged twenty-two, is currently valued at approximately £10 million by his current club. As both Premier League sides look to bolster their backlines for the upcoming campaign, the race for this emerging talent suggests a potential bidding war or a decision based on the sporting projects offered by each institution. For the Hammers, acquiring a defender at this price point and age profile aligns with a recruitment strategy focused on long-term value and defensive depth. No official move has been confirmed yet.
