London Stadium says hosting more gigs is 'vital'

The Story So Far

The Hammers’ home ground is currently seeking planning permission to expand the number of musical performances and concerts held at the Stratford site. Operators of the East London venue have described the move to host additional music events as an essential requirement for the facility's future operations. By increasing the frequency of non-sporting events, the stadium aims to bolster its commercial viability and utility outside of the traditional football season. The proposal focuses on diversifying the venue's schedule, ensuring that the stadium remains a primary destination for major entertainment acts while continuing its role as the home of West Ham United.
