London rivals want West Ham star in transfer that would cause 'huge fan backlash' - report

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly dealing with transfer interest from a local rival regarding one of the club's most prominent players. Media speculation suggests that a neighboring London side is considering a move for a key member of the Hammers' first-team squad. If such a deal were to materialize, it is anticipated that the decision would provoke substantial anger among the fan base, primarily due to the intense regional rivalry involved. While the identities of both the interested club and the specific player remain undisclosed, the possibility of a high-profile departure to a city competitor remains a sensitive issue for the club.
