League blocks striker approach as West Ham transfer rivals fall away - report

The Story So Far

West Ham United’s efforts to secure a new striker have encountered a significant development following a regulatory intervention. Reports suggest that a league governing body has moved to block a specific approach for the forward, though the underlying reasons for this decision have not been disclosed. This obstacle coincides with a decrease in interest from other potential suitors, as several rival clubs have reportedly withdrawn from the pursuit. Consequently, the competitive field for the player’s signature has narrowed considerably. These shifts in the transfer market landscape leave the Hammers facing fewer competitors while navigating the complexities of the league’s recent ruling on the matter.
