Journalist calls out Drogba-like striker who 'shouldn't have turned down West Ham' after fantastic offer

The Story So Far

West Ham United recently made a substantial contract proposal to an attacking target who draws stylistic comparisons to Drogba. Despite the lucrative nature of the terms presented by the London club, the player opted to decline the move. This decision has drawn criticism from media observers, who suggest that the striker may have missed a significant career opportunity by turning down the Hammers. The pursuit highlights the club’s ongoing efforts to bolster their offensive options with specific physical profiles, though the recruitment team must now look elsewhere to fill their requirements in the final third following this high-profile rejection in the transfer market.
