Hard Work Alone Isn’t Enough For West Ham’s £20m Striker

The Story So Far

West Ham United’s significant financial outlay on a forward is facing increased scrutiny following assessments of the player's recent offensive contributions. The striker, signed for approximately £20 million, has earned recognition for his dedication and high activity levels during matches. Nevertheless, current analysis indicates that pure industry is insufficient for a player in his position. While his commitment to the team's physical demands is evident, there is a clear expectation for greater output beyond mere effort. The club’s recruitment strategy and the player's individual performance remain key talking points as the Hammers seek more consistent and decisive impact up front.
