Gossip: West Ham keen on Foxes defensive duo

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly exploring a move for a defensive duo from Leicester City, with English defender Ben Nelson identified as a key target. The twenty-two-year-old has caught the attention of the Hammers, who are looking to strengthen their backline. Following the Foxes' recent relegation to the third tier of English football, the East London club is hopeful of securing the player’s signature for a reduced transfer fee. This pursuit aligns with a strategy of identifying talent from clubs facing divisional changes. The potential acquisition of Nelson would represent a focus on young domestic talent as the Hammers look to bolster their squad for the future.
