Fiercest rivalry in football? Millwall and West Ham face off after 14-year wait

The Story So Far

West Ham United are set to rekindle one of football’s most storied and intense local rivalries as they prepare to face Millwall for the first time in fourteen years. This upcoming fixture marks the end of a lengthy period without a competitive meeting between the two clubs, adding significant weight to the encounter. Historically, matches between these neighbors have been characterized by their high stakes and fervent atmospheres, making the long-awaited reunion a notable event for both sets of supporters. The extended gap since their last clash ensures that this modern iteration of the derby will be a focal point.
