Exclusive: Newcastle United on red alert as West Ham try to snare key transfer guru

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly exploring the possibility of hiring a high-profile recruitment specialist currently working for Newcastle United. The London club is looking to enhance its backroom infrastructure by bringing in a key figure responsible for identifying and securing new talent. This potential move has caused concern at the Tyneside club, as they prepare for the possibility of a significant staff member departing for a domestic competitor. While no formal appointment has been confirmed, the pursuit highlights the Hammers' focus on strengthening their strategic operations off the pitch. Securing such an experienced individual would be seen as a step toward modernizing the club's long-term transfer approach.
