West Ham’s survival bid dented by Brentford and Igor Thiago

The Story So Far

West Ham United’s efforts to secure top-flight status suffered a setback following a defeat against Brentford and Igor Thiago. Despite a competitive display where the team struck the frame of the goal three times and had a score disallowed for a narrow offside, they failed to secure points. This result leaves the club in a precarious position, only two points above the relegation zone. With the battle for survival remaining closely contested, the manager reflected on a missed opportunity to distance the team from the bottom three. The club could now drop into the bottom three depending on the upcoming result between Tottenham and Aston Villa.
