West Ham joined by Sevilla in race to sign midfielder

The Story So Far

West Ham United’s recruitment strategy has encountered a new challenge as they seek to strengthen their midfield department. While the Premier League club has been monitoring a potential addition to the center of the pitch, they now face direct competition from a continental rival. Sevilla has reportedly entered the pursuit, signaling a battle between English and Spanish top-tier sides for the player's commitment. This interest from La Liga means the Hammers’ recruitment team may encounter increased pressure during negotiations. As the club identifies targets, the presence of another major European suitor complicates the path to securing this planned midfield reinforcement.
