West Ham Fear Repeat Of Declan Rice Situation After Arsenal Fernandes Interest

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly facing internal concerns regarding the potential departure of Fernandes as interest from Arsenal begins to intensify. The situation has drawn immediate comparisons to the transfer of former club captain Declan Rice, who moved to the North London side in a high-profile deal during a previous window. There is a growing apprehension within the club that a similar pattern could emerge, potentially leading to the loss of another significant player to a domestic rival. As the Hammers look to maintain their squad depth, the board remains wary of the strategic challenges posed by interest from competing Premier League teams in their senior personnel.
