West Ham close in on Leeds United star after agreeing key condition

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly nearing a deal to secure a prominent figure from the Leeds United squad during the current transfer window. The potential move appears to have progressed significantly following a breakthrough in negotiations regarding a specific requirement demanded by the Yorkshire club. While the reports focus on a standout performer from the Championship outfit, the agreement on this critical term has cleared a major hurdle for the Hammers. This development suggests that the East London club is intensifying its recruitment efforts as they look to bolster their first-team options and finalize the acquisition before the transfer market officially closes.
