West Ham announce Nuno is staying as head coach with goal of Premier League return

The Story So Far

West Ham United have confirmed that head coach Nuno Espírito Santo will remain in his position following the club's relegation from the Premier League. Despite a victory in their final fixture of the season, the club was unable to avoid the drop to the Championship. The Portuguese manager, who took over the role in September, met with the board early this week to discuss the future. Both parties expressed a mutual desire to continue their partnership, with the primary objective set as securing an immediate return to the top flight. Nuno will now lead the squad's efforts to achieve promotion next season.
