Thomas Tuchel urged to consider Championship star for England after latest snub

The Story So Far

England’s international selection strategy is facing scrutiny following calls for manager Thomas Tuchel to consider a standout performer from the Championship. After a player was omitted from recent squads, discussions have intensified regarding whether the national team should look more frequently toward the second tier for talent. This potential shift in recruitment policy is relevant to West Ham United, as the club monitors the division for signings and utilizes it for developing players on loan. For the Hammers, any change in how the national side evaluates Championship form could impact the progression and international aspirations of their own academy prospects.
