Targett, Traore, Neil - Stoke City on alert as dozens of players released by Premier League clubs

The Story So Far

West Ham United and their top-flight counterparts are confirming their retained lists as the current campaign concludes. This period typically sees a significant number of players becoming free agents upon the expiration of their contracts. Among those potentially seeking new opportunities are individuals such as Targett, Traore, and Neil. While the Hammers finalize their own squad adjustments, several English Football League sides are reportedly monitoring the situation. These clubs, including Championship teams like Stoke City, view the influx of released Premier League talent as an opportunity to strengthen their rosters ahead of the upcoming campaign without incurring any transfer fees.
