Skinner leaves West Ham Women with immediate effect

West Ham United have confirmed that Rehanne Skinner has stepped down from her role as head coach of the women’s team with immediate effect. This decision follows a difficult opening to the current Women’s Super League campaign, in which the side has recorded just one victory. Currently positioned eleventh in the standings with five points, the Hammers recently played out a draw against the team sitting at the bottom of the table. Skinner arrived in the summer of 2023, becoming the first woman to lead the club during the WSL era. She previously secured top-tier survival for the team during her first season in charge.
