'Same old story' - Hammers fans react to Burnley draw

The Story So Far

West Ham United commenced their Championship campaign with a 2-2 draw away at Burnley, a result that generated a familiar sense of frustration among the club’s supporters. Despite securing a point in the first fixture of the season, the manner of the performance drew comparisons to recurring issues from previous years. The match served as an early introduction to the competitive landscape of the second tier. While an away draw provides a foundation for the league table, the immediate feedback from the fanbase suggests that more consistent displays will be required to meet expectations as the season progresses and the team settles into the division.
