Saints fans give Carabao Cup the thumbs down in big boost for West Ham

The Story So Far

West Ham United may benefit from a lack of enthusiasm among the opposition’s supporters ahead of their upcoming Carabao Cup encounter. Reports suggest that the Saints fanbase is showing significant disinterest in the tournament, which could lead to a subdued atmosphere during the fixture. This development is viewed as a potential advantage for the Hammers, as a less engaged opposing crowd can shift the psychological dynamics of a knockout match. Without the usual intensity from the stands, the players might find it easier to establish their rhythm and dictate the play. The club will look to capitalize on this lack of external pressure while seeking tournament progression.
