Leeds set to launch surprise free transfer swoop before deadline – West Ham are also keen

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly monitoring a potential move for a free agent as the transfer deadline approaches. The London club is joined by Leeds United in showing interest in securing a deal for the unattached player. While the identity of the specific target remains undisclosed in current reports, both teams are seeking to bolster their respective squads without the need for a transfer fee. This pursuit comes as clubs across the divisions look for late opportunities to add depth or experience before the registration window closes. The Hammers are expected to face competition from their Yorkshire rivals to finalize terms ahead of the cutoff point.
