“In the playoffs” – West Ham face missing automatic promotion without immediate action – Stelling

The Story So Far

West Ham United are reportedly at risk of missing out on automatic promotion if they fail to improve their current form immediately. Comments from media figures, including Jeff Stelling, suggest that the Hammers could find themselves competing in the play-offs rather than securing a direct route back to the top division. The necessity for urgent action has been highlighted, emphasizing that the squad must find greater consistency in the coming weeks to solidify their standing in the league table. Without a swift turnaround in results, the club faces the high-stakes pressure of the post-season tournament. The pursuit of a top-two finish remains the primary objective to avoid the competitive uncertainty of the play-off system.
