Fabrizio Romano shares Sunday afternoon Summerville to Roma update after West Ham reject bid

The Story So Far

West Ham United have reportedly declined an initial proposal from Roma regarding the potential transfer of Summerville. The Italian club’s interest in the player led to a formal approach, but the Hammers opted to reject the opening bid as they look to manage their current squad. Following this development, updates provided by transfer specialists on Sunday afternoon suggest that negotiations have not progressed further. The decision reflects the club's firm stance on the attacker, who remains an integral part of the setup in East London. While interest from the overseas side persists, West Ham appear committed to maintaining their valuation during the ongoing summer transfer window.
