Celtic reject West Ham Engels bid and confirm Johnston interest

The Story So Far

West Ham United's recent transfer approach has been rebuffed by Celtic following a formal bid for Engels. The Glasgow club confirmed they have declined the offer from the Hammers, signaling their intent to retain the player despite interest from the Premier League side. In addition to the negotiations surrounding Engels, Celtic management verified that the London club are monitoring Johnston. While the Scottish side has acknowledged this inquiry, no further developments regarding a potential move for either individual have been finalized. The Hammers remain active in the market as they seek to finalize their current squad depth and personnel requirements.
