Celtic ratings in Premiership opener: Everton scouting mission, 2 signings with low marks, West Ham target assessed

The Story So Far

West Ham United recruitment staff are reportedly monitoring a potential transfer target currently playing in the Scottish Premiership. During Celtic’s first league fixture of the new campaign, the individual in question was evaluated as part of a wider performance review. While scouts from Everton were also present to observe the match, the Hammers’ interest remains focused on a specific member of the Glasgow-based squad. The assessment follows a game in which several of the Scottish club's recent acquisitions struggled to perform. This scouting activity indicates that West Ham remain active in the market, seeking to identify reinforcements before the summer transfer window closes.
