Burton Albion 0-1 West Ham (AET) - FA Cup Fourth Round Review

The Story So Far

West Ham United secured their place in the FA Cup fifth round following a narrow 1-0 victory over Burton Albion after extra time. In a closely contested fixture, a heavily rotated Hammers side struggled to break down the hosts during regulation time, as Gary Bowyer’s team created scoring opportunities through Revan, Evans, and Shade. The decisive moment arrived in the ninety-fifth minute when Crysencio Summerville’s strike took a deflection off Vancooten to find the net. The closing stages proved difficult for the visitors after Freddie Potts received a red card in the 101st minute, but the team held firm to ensure their advancement.
